Lodi Township currently (Feb 17, 2026) has two posted openings (excerpt below is from Loditownshipmi.org):
Lodi Township is seeking Members of the Township to serve as:
Alternate Member of the Township Board of Review – The Board of Review hears appeals related to property tax assessments under Michigan law. Alternate members serve when regular members are unavailable and participate fully in hearings and decisions. Members are required to complete State of Michigan training, either online or in person. This is an appointed position with a two-year term beginning January 1 of an odd-numbered year and ending December 31 of the following even-numbered year.
Applicants must meet Michigan statutory requirements, including:
Be a registered voter (elector) of the township
Be a property taxpayer in the township
Not be a member of the Township Board
Not be an immediate family member of the Township Assessor
Planning Commission Member, which advises the Township Board on land use, zoning, and long-range planning in accordance with Michigan law. This is an appointed position beginning March 31, 2026, with a term of three years.
Applicants must be registered voters of the township and have significant knowledge of Planning and Zoning.
